Jonathan started Kindergarten in September of 1991 at Hyannis West Elementary School. He continued grade school here through the 4th grade. His Kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Parker. She was a great teacher of all the little ones just starting in school. Jon was shy but she helped him relax and become comfortable in class. Jon & I played "secret santa" every christmas from K-4 at Hy-West in all his classes. He always kept our secret! The kids loved it! He had a very giving nature about him even then. Hyannis West was an exceptional school with wonderful teachers. It had such a "home" feel about it, thanks to Fred Scully, the principal, and all the staff. It was like being in one big "family". Those were the best educational years of Jons life. He enjoyed them greatly.
